Reich Re-Signs

The Bruins today, signed young spark plug Jeremy Reich to a two year contract worth $975,000. Never afraid to mix it up with the heavy weights, Jeremy added a lot of energy to the fourth line. Although Jeremy was a UFA and had offers from other teams, he said Boston was where he wanted to be. Not only was it a two year contract, more importantly it was a one-way deal meaning he is getting paid! Now before we leave the topic here is a fight for your viewing pleasure

In other news it is the first day of the prospect camp and every one attended except Rask. Rask was at a wedding and should be practicing Tuesday. I also figured I would list some of the minor player movement that might have slipped under the radar in the last few weeks.

Added to Roster:
Bobby Allen
Jeremy Reich
Andrew Alberts
Brandon Bochenski
Hannu Toivonen
Shawn Thornton
Manny Fernandez (Trade)
Byron Bitz (Prospect)
Adam Courchaine (Prospect)
Jared Walker (Prospect)
Matt Hunwick (Prospect)

Subtracted from Roster:
Nathan Dempsey
Petr Tenkrat
Jay Leach
Joey MacDonald
Nathan Robinson
Petr Kalus (Trade)
Martin Samuelsson

Yeah - he was one of the few on the roster last season who played with heart and really seemed to care about the concept of a team.

Gotta love the irony of the word "BULLY" being prominent on that screen cap.
