Gameday - Maple Leafs @ Bruins 12/07/06

It's ass kicking time!! Mara will be back in the line-up, and hopefully geared up to lay some pay back on Chad Kilger. Most likely though he will take it easy on the rough stuff, but maybe he can take it out on the puck. Axelsson is out again and may be out for another week. Hoggan was recalled from Providence for second time in two games. I can't say for sure why they decided to send Hoggan back to Providence. It really makes little sense as he gets paid by the game. If they left him in Boston he would get more practice time with his line mates. What do I know...

Here are the projected lines for tonight:

Tenkrat - Savard - Murray
Sturm - Bergeron - Boyes
Primeau - Mowers - Donovan
Hoggan - Kessel - Chistov

Defense
Chara, Alberts,
Mara, B. Stuart
Jurcina, York

Thomas will get the start again (20th straight game) and he will be looking to dominate the Maple Leaf players for a third game. In the three previous games Thomas has only allowed three goals against. The Bruins lone loss against Toronto this season, came on November 9th with a 6-4 blowout. But these are the new and improved Bruins, well Thomas and the offence are improved. The teams defence still tends to take periods off.

Toronto will be without Nik Antropov who has gone down with an ankle injury. Alexander Suglobov is also out and Wade Belak will be filling in for the game. J.S. Aubin will get the start over the struggling Raycroft tonight. Raycroft has been the recipient of bad defence not seen since his Boston Bruins days. I would love to say I wish him the very best, but he is a Leaf now and THEY STINK!

Game on.
