Tim Thomas shuts out in shoot out

Sorry not much time here today...

Today I will free form list a bunch of random thoughts about last nights game and the general state of the team, hopefully one sentence each. Here we go : quick hits friday:

Tampa loses on the strength of Tim Thomas play.
Jason York leveled St louis to set up Murray goal.
Save of the year on St Louis?
PJ most valuable Bruin?
PJ stock was in the house and commented that there are only 2 guys left from his playing days.
Bruins are stealing points, by playing poorly enough to lose and finding ways to win.
Rally helmets, why didn't we think of this sooner.
Keeping Kessels legs fresh for the shoot out winner, stroke of genious by Lewis.
Savard is better than Thornton ;)
8-2 in last 10 tied for second hottest club in hockey.
One point out of a playoff spot with 3 games in hand, not bad, considering.

So, you are like the 30th person this week I have heard talk about the 3 points out of the playoffs already... We are 1/4 the way through the season!!!!

Its a bit early for that, isnt it? Like talking about the Wild Card in May.......anything can happen.

Otherwise, hope all is well!

Why the question mark after PJ most valuable Bruin. He is by far our most valuable player. There are those that watch hilites or look at stats only that will argue - I ask these people to watch every game in its entiry and watch what PJ brings to the table. He has speed, is good on offence, is a defensive machine and plays with more heart than any player (and I mean ANY PLAYER) in the league. He is a true competetor who puts the team first and leads by example - when you want to put a player as a teams identity you have to look no further than PJ for the Bruins'.
Bruins MVP = PJ Axelsson!!! Period!!!

While I think PJ is MVP material, I belive the MVP to be Tim Thomas. It's not his fault he is goalie and can't run around the ice (God knows he tries).

He gives it his all in every game and has rescued his team on countless situations. PJ helps but he is only one man, Thomas is 10!

That was a bit over the top eh? How about we call them co-MVP eh Jim?
