Bruins @ Devils - 04/03/07
Tonight, the B's are taking on the mighty Martin Brodeur and his Devils in their third of four games this season. New Jersey has won three of the last five while Boston has only one two of its last five games. The Devils last game involved a third period collapse and a suspension of team tough guy Cam Janssen for a late hit. It was a good clean hit in my opinion, except for the fact that he hit Kaberle five seconds too late (I guess that makes it a bad hit). The hit finally got Toronto fired up and they came back to beat the Devils 4-3.
The Bruins are currently six games out of a playoff spot, and with Atlanta beating the Hurricanes this afternoon, Boston could move within four points of Carolina. This is good news, as last week the teams playoff chances were slim after three straight losses. I would imagine Thomas will be in nets tonight and the will have the same lineup as yesterday.
