Heartbreaker

Last night The Bruins, who are fighting for their playoff lives, lost to Atlanta by a score of 3-2.
This was the Bruins 2nd straight loss but, unlike the game against Florida, The Bruins actually didn't stink out the place. The game could have went either way but in the end Hossa scored the winner for the enemy. This game was a heartbreaker for 2 reasons: First, it was for 2 points the B's desperately needed and second, the winner was scored on a shot that the Trapper would normally have stopped 999 times out of a 1000. I feel bad for Timmy because he along with Savard have been, by far, our 2 best players this season - a bad time for a softie (he does not deserve to be the scapegoat but the goal was weak).

Game hilights:

- 95 year old Scott Mellanby scored on Boston ... again (it seems like this fossil scores against the B's everytime he plays them).
- Savard held pointless.
- Hossa scores winner (see above).
- Eric Belanger also scored (didn't even realize he was still playing - used to watch him play in the AHL for St. John's 30 years ago!).

3 stars as picked by me:

1 - Marian Hossa
2 - Shean Donovan
3 - Slava Kozlov

The Bruins still can make the playoffs but have to get on a very good run starting tomorrow night in Philly - this game is do or die for their playoff lives.

Prediction:

Bruins - 6
Philly - 0

Go Bruins Go !!!
