Bruins defeat Toronto 4-1

Brad Boyes Brad Boyes whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when Brad comes for you Brad Boyes Brad Boyes.... Remember you "heard" it here first, when the Tv spots come with Brad finishing off games as he did again tonight with an empty netter to down Toronto, that song will ring in your head.

The Bruins, read Tim Thomas, weathered the first 10 minutes and had the last lafts. The only way the hapless leafs could get one was off a skate. Mara may have been hurt and his minutes will be missed. Offense from the the gifted Primeau (assist) and Donovan (1st Bruins goal) led the way. When your 4th line outscores the great Tucker you know your going to have a good night!

I kept thinking as Toronto came in waves that I have been hearing Dave Lewis talking about the coaching and preaching of Bill Belichick - bend but don't break, bend but don't break. It was harry at moments but timely offense from all the lines and a extremly solid penatly kill led to a huge win.

Kessel and Chistov did not get much time and looked good when they were out there, what speed from Kessel! But I can't help but think Kessel looks like a boy playing with men when he is out there... I wonder why that is, oh cause he is a boy! He sure can fly but this was the type of game that he could have had his head taken off as the hitting and honest hostility between these two teams began to show in this match up, looking foward to more games in this series.

Bring on Tampa Bay on Thursday!

I'll take the win, but it would have been nice to also see some respective asses being kicked on the ice too! With fists, that is.

Blah! I haven't watched the game yet. Just wanted to say that people have been singing that song about Braddy Boyes for YEARS now. Since the lockout; probably the season before, too. I only remember it as early as that lockout year. Mmm, Braddy Boyes. I miss that lockout year. That was an incredible year.

Mellow Yellow scores his 1st goal as a Bruin. As hard as he has worked this year he deserves more. Only so much he can do on the line he is with. He is much better than his stats show.
Also a big welcome to Neb. This was his first of many posts on this site.
