Hero = Bergeron
Bergeron comes thru again. After scoring the shootout winner against Washington on Wednesday night, Bergy came up big again on Thursday night with the OT winner against Toronto. Good to see him take control and step up his game.
Actually the whole team seems to be playing better this week. Chara seems to be settling in and playing better defence and the forwards are flying out there now (where was this jump in October?). Thomas has 3 wins in a row now and for goaltending confidence is everything.
Mara even made a great defensive play last nite (still played his usual terrible game but at least he had one good moment).
The Bruins seem to be playing as a team now and lets hope they continue their winning ways and climb those standings.
San Jose had a scout at the game last nite so you know rumors will probably be flying all day - scouts are always at other teams games; this is their job. But maybe just maybe The Sharks are unhappy with Big Joe and want to reverse the trade from last season and maybe they are interested in adding Chechoo to the deal for Mara or Alberts.
Bruins next game is Saturday nite against Washington.

I'll take cheech for Mara and Alberts. Of course we have nobody to replace them on D. Mistakes or not they are better than anything else we have.
I like seeing Alberts hit people too :)
If we get rid of Mara I will go play "D" for 1/2 his salary. The Bruins get a better player for less money. I actually thought Mara was good last year and would be even better this year (see even I can be wrong about things sometimes).
