Gameday - Bruins @ Capitals 11/15/06

This is the first of a home at home with Washington this week. The B's left yesterday after an afternoon practice with the new 4th liner Stanislav Chistov. The lines for the practice were as follows:

Axelsson-Savard-Murray
Sturm-Bergeron-Boyes
Primeau-Kessel-Donovan
Chistov-Mowers-Tenkrat

Alberts, Chara
Mara, Stuart
Dempsey, Jurcina

Thomas, Finley

While it looks like it will be a quick, talented 4th line, I would still like to see Tenkrat and Chistov skating with Kessel. I expect the 3rd and 4th lines to be very fluid during the game. We might possibly see Tenkrat and Chistov get a little power play time as well. For the two of them to be useful they will need to see more time than a typical 4th line so look for them to receive at least 10-12 minutes tonight. This total could increase of Washington commits a lot of penalties.

I added the team shoots against per game stat to show how many shots our goalies face on average. It's not surprising we are near the bottom, but Washington is far and away the worst.

Thomas has been confirmed as the starting goaltender, and Axelsson and Stuart (both with minor injuries) will be in the line-up as well.
