Yes, because back in the heady days of last summer that's what most everyone said was fair (at the least). But if he isn't kicking some asses in line by xmas: see ya and good riddance!

But of course by then there likely won't be any quality coaches available.

Coach PC? Yikes! And some of you thought there was nothing worse...

Sigh

I think we should keep him for 4 years no matter what!

Kidding...I thhink that if the team is toast by then (like out of the playoffs) then we can get a new couch so the team can get used to him for next year. If we are close to the playoffs like this year (well we were until the final couple weeks) then he should stay on. I hate messing too much which shit late in the season.

We don't need to look far for a good coach, we have Scott Gordon. By the by, did anyone hear that Jeff Gorton is a candidate for the GM job in Phoenix?

false:

if after 20 games the team is not better than say 450, lewis is gone and scott gordon gets a chance to save the season.

True:

I'll give him the rest of 2007. I think he overestimated teh talent of our D this season. Now that he knows the players better he should be able to come up with some better strategies other than hang back and hope they don't score. If he doesn't have a new decent strategy that is working by January though, send him packing!

I'm leery about fans always seeing greener pastures in the next player or coach. At least in theory Dave Lewis has a heck of a lot more experience than Scott Gordon!

Regardless of who they have coaching, I think it important to give them their full chance.
