bruins give one away in montreal

is there anything more annoying than hearing frenchmen's sing the "awayawayaway" biz..
love how quiet it got when it was 4-3. would have loved to see them tie that game after all that presumptuous lalalalaing.

guess who the only bruin to be a plus on the night was? prize for the first correct commenter.

game notes from this observer.... poor yan didnt get much ice. last year the chara give away would have been hooking on the montreal player? no? boy we miss pj. did i mention we miss pj. hannu looked decent but cant help think that the he is still fragile. the team gave montreal way too much of everything.... too much space, too many shots, too many face offs wins. got to be better in these areas to win.

yesterday i was considering a post along the lines of:

today will be a real testie. your nuts if you do not think that the bruins will be on the ball without kessel (and bj i mean pj). did you see all the sacks the patriots gave up- they are starting to look like the bruins d. a loss to montreal will be another kick in the groin.

i thought better of it....cause humor at a time like this is for the immature.

get well soon phil

I would like to see the stat for how many more give aways Chara has than whoever has the 2nd most in the league.
I bet Chara averages more per period than the 2nd place guy does per game. Maybe even more per shift than anyone else in the league per game.
How does someone his size get pushed around by players the size of a 12 year girl. Maybe a stint playing for the farm might smarten him up.
Enough is enough - he has had his adjustment period. No more excuses: start playing good hockey (like he should and could) or bench him!!!!!

Yeah, while the farm idea sounds nice, there is that problem of him being stolen by another team. We would still have to pay half of his salary too!

neb you crack me up...

Yeah I know we can't send Chara to the farm or even bench him but it is just frustrating watching a game and everytime our best defenceman has the puck in our own end I get nervous. I have no trust in him when he tries to carry it as he has given it up to many times this year. Just wish he would stop with the give aways already!

Don't you hate it when ex-Bruins who have been sucking all season on their new team, suddenly return to form to beat their old team?

Neb: Murry was +2 on the nite.

Doobie: I agree with you - I hate that ex players burn us. However, we HAD to let him go last year but seeing last nite still sucks!
