Goaltending Clinics In The Bruins' Home Opener

The Bruins and Penguins tied 1-1 last night in Bostons' home opener but Pittsburgh earned an extra point in the penalty shot competition following the game (I still do, always did and always will hate the shootout).

The theme for this night was goaltending. Thomas and Sabourin both put on clinics as they faced 32 and 36 shots respectively and only allowed a goal a piece. Only Kessel and Satan were able to find the twine in this contest.

The Bruins are playing extremely well so far this season (only 5 games in but they are playing well) and are proving that they can play with or better than anyone. This should be a very successful season if they continue to keep up this level of play.

Tonight they play again as they shuffle off to Buffalo to face The Sabres.

My prediction is:
Boston 4
Buffalo 0

Go Bruins Go!!!

That was a fun game to watch but really tough to swallow. The B's really outplayed the Penguins and still couldn't grab 2 points.

Hopefully they're not exhausted tonight against a very good Buffalo team.
