Bruins Double The Sens!!!

Boston played a full 60 minutes of hockey for the first time this season and cruised to a 4-2 victory over The Ottawa Senators.

Savard (is the Art Ross Trophy in his future) led the way with 3 assists while Kessel had 2 goals and an assist. Boston's other scores were Lucic and Sturm.

Manny got the start in nets and looked fine in a strong defensive game by the boys in black and gold. He only had to face 12 shots in the first 2 periods and was left alone in his own ended for long stretches at a time; most of the game he was lonelier than a hooker at a Star Trek convention.

Ryder watch: our free agent signing had another assist last night. That gives him 5 point in 4 games (very good indeed - keeping pace with Hossa the floater who plays for the powerhouse Red Wings).

3 stars as picked by me:

1 - Savy (amazing, simply amazing).

2 - Kessel (strong effort from Phil - is he finally matured - I hope so)

3 - Lucic (plays like a veteran of 10 years - is a force already)

The Bruins play next on Monday Night at home (finally a home game) against The Pittsburgh Penguins.

Go Bruins Go!!!
