Bruins Win Opener

Bergeron's return was memorable as Boston defeated Colorado 5-4 in Denver last night despite being outshot 39 - 20.

Timmy, once again, was the difference maker making 35 saves for the victory (this seems to be a 2 and a half year theme now).

Ryder did what he was brought in to do - score.

Savard had a goal and an assist, while Krejci scored late in the 3rd to give the B's the lead and the win.

Kessel and Wheeler had Boston's other tallies.

3 stars as picked by me:

1 - Thomas (still our best player)
2 - Savard (big game as usual)
3 - Ryder (finally have the goal scorer we were missing last season)

BRUINS WIN OPENER!!!!

Great to see that the flagship station NESN couldn't even get the season opener. If Timmy keeps up I may bring back Timmy is God again later in the year. I hope the hell they re-sign him. Even if he gets moved to back-up or tandem with Tuuka next season, I think it would be benificial to Rask to have Timmy's experience.

Very spread out office and all the key players contributed; Bergeron, Ryder, Wheeler, Savard...

Tim Thomas Is GOD!!!!

There is a REASON Claude put him in opening game and not Fernandez!!!

Tim Thomas is my favorite player, always will be!

It's been 3 years since the B's won their opening game! They deserved this!
