Ryder Nets His League Leading 7th Game Winning Goal!

Boston defeated Atlanta last night 2-1 to earn the 4 game season sweep. Michael Ryder popped the winner with about 6 minutes left to give The Bruins the victory. It was Ryder's 14th goal of the season, which matches his output in Montreal all last season (why the habs put a 2 time 30 goal scorer on the 4th line or watching from the press box last season is still a mystery to me). It is also The Newf's league leading 7th game winner (his goals count big time!).

Also scoring for Boston was Phil Kessel with his team leading 22nd goal. Manny got the call between the pipes last night and turned away 32 of the 33 shots he faced - he is playing exceptional in relief of Timmy. Manny would be the hands down #1 on any other team in the NHL right now.

Boston's next game is against The flightless, overrated birds from Pittsburgh on Tuesday. The Bruins should easily cruise to victory in this game.

Go Bruins Go!!!
