Different Day, Same Story

The Bruins win again and Timmy Thomas plays great.

Last night they defeated The Maple Leafs 3-2. Thomas made 28 saves and held the Bruins in it late for the win. Kessel opened the scoring with a softy between Toskala's legs (this clown is on the allstar ballot for goalies and Thomas is not) and Hunwick scored his 1st ever goal on a fat juicy rebound, once again thanks to Toskala. The Leafs however replied late in the 1st on a goal by Jason Blake (he still plays???) to make it 2-1 after 1. The only goal in the second was a beauty and a big one. Michael Ryder scored what would prove to be the winner as he pulled a dangle move on Leafs' defenceman, Pavol Kubina, and while Kubina was picking up his shorts Michael roofed a wrister by Toskala. Ryder has arrived! This is the goal we were waiting for! He has been playing very well this season but just wasn't hitting the back of the net. With a goal like this last night his confidence will be back and expect goals by the bunches from this gritty newf from now on. Way to go Ryder!!!

The Bruins are now 9-1-1 in their last eleven and look poised to keep this streak and great play going.

The Bruins next game is Wednesday night against Buffalo; I wouldn't want to be cheering for the Sabres on this night as I can see a slaughter coming. I predict 6-1 for Boston.

Go Bruins Go!!!
