The Bruins Make A Statement With A 4-1 Win Over The Wings!

The Bruins have arrived as "THE" elite team in the NHL and last night they put the reigning Stanley Cup Champs on notice. Boston downed the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 to improve their record to 16-4-4 and end November with an 11-1-1 mark - incredible!

Detroit were the team in The NHL to beat with a 15-3-4 mark entering the game and are the defending champs but The Bruins played like they did all year and handed them their asses and sent them on their way.

Manny played superb in nets as The Wings started strong but he held the fort in the first 15 minutes until The Bruins were able to come around and dominate the rest of the game. Besides Manny the player that stood out to me was Michael Ryder (been playing well all season and finally seeing the rewards) who had 2 assists and ended up with 4 points over Friday's and last night's games.

Goal scorers for The Bruins were: Wheeler, Kessel, Cup-A-Soup and Krejci.

The Bruins must not rest on this recent success and think that just showing up will get them wins. They have to keep playing how they got to be "THE" elite team to stay there - hard work and determination along with their skill, size, toughness and great goaltending could (although still early yet) earn them The Cup this season (yes they do have all the tools). Chara said it best after the game, "We've got to keep going and we've got to push forward, we can't be satisfied with the results we have." I Love It!!!

The Bruins next game is Thursday against The Lightning in Tampa.

Go Bruins Go!!!
