Thrashers Win!! Bruins Winning Streak Comes to an End

I guess Toivenen isn't the God everyone thought he was. Our saviour lost the game for us...

Just kidding. It didn't seem like he was the reason we lost. Reasons we lost include:

1) Jason York and Nathan Dempsey
2) Lines 1a and 1b (you pick which one is which) lack of scoring
3) Kari Lehtonen

I am thinking Thomas will get the next start, just a guess. In practice Toivenen got hit in the throat by a puck and decided to get a neck guard for his mask (good decision). Not sure about all of you, but I am dropping all Boston Bruins from my hockey pools.

Sorry this post is so disjointed. I just got home from volleyball and I am tired. Later!

May i add that i liked a lot Dempsey impersonna of an I93 traffic pylon on the last goal.. At least, they seems to catch the lesson regarding the penalty box...

That was his tribute to Hal Gill; it brought a tear to me eye.

I'm embarrased to say that during the 30 minutes of this game that I caught on the radio, three Thrasher goals were scored. It was 1-1 when I left work to head home for dinner. By the time I got home Scott Mellanby and Glen Metropolit had scored and, right after I got in the car to go back to work, Hossa scored goal number four. So, yes folks, I was the jinx responsible for the loss.

But at least my excuse was that I had to work...not volleyball!

I missed the game because of an entry draft for our hockey league.
Always embarassing when 108 year old Scott Mellanby scores - of course not as embarassing as playing volleyball.
