Buffalo Burried By Bruins

In Chuck's 2nd game of the season (the first since being injured opening night) he records two big points; a goal and an assist. He stepped on to the ice tonight and never missed a beat as he played over 11 minutes in his return from being injured against Colorado. His offensive ability adds more depth to a team that is already firing on all cylinders and is proving to be a powerhouse in the league.

Timmy Thomas was given a well deserved break tonight and Manny filled in quite well as he was only beaten once in the 34 shots he faced. Timmy is obviously the team's #1 and starter so I wonder if Manny is being showcased for a later trade - he is to good and is making to much dough to be backing up and sitting on the bench.

Wideman and Savard had the other tallies for The Bruins tonight as the Boston Juggernaut keeps on rolling.

Boston's next game is in Chicago against The Blackhawks on Wednesday.

Go Bruins Go!!!

I was at the game last night. The B's got outworked in the first 5 minutes then took over. Steady attack. Manny was never in any real trouble. Solid win!

Bruins are playing steady controlled hockey. They are very consistent. Not having up and down games - learned how to play to win.

I swear, the most encouraging thing about this team- even more than just the wins- was the way they responded to Dallas. That's what separates the sucky, disappointing Bruins that we know and hate from these new ones that do some strange thing called "win". It's hard to underperform when the entire team has that much heart.
Really good point about the controlled game they're playing as well. Isn't nice when they look like they know what they're doing?
