Tender Morsels

In other news, Lashoff was sent down to Providence after the game yesterday and up to take his place will be Bobby Allen. You may remember him from his days as a prominent Bruins draft pick. You know the one that was never given a chance and then traded to Edmonton. Allen has 18 points and is a +4 playing in Providence this year.

In other more important news we've lost Wayne Primaeau with a separated left shoulder. He's hoping to be back by Saturday, but there is no use rushing him back with the All-Star game only a week away. Jeff Hoggan will be replacing him in the line-up, and at the moment no extra forwards have been called up.

Is anyone else wondering why Andrew Alberts and Marc Savard have been given two straight practices off?

Great minds think alike. ;)

I would say it's an injury reason, but I still think Chara and Bergeron are hurting too.

I thought of the injury thing as well, but why not give chistov time off too. I guess it can't be too serious if none of the journalists are wondering out loud about it.

Don't have to wonder anymore. Herald said Alberts has been "nursing a groin strain." At least there's one answer.
