I didn't see the game last night due to reasons of the woman kind, but I've decided to throw some facts at you. I know it is only 6 games in but I’m bored!

Milan Lucic - tied for the league lead in fights with 3
4th of the rookies in hits with 11
4th of the rookies in penalty minutes with 15

Zdeno Chara - 11th in league in total ice time per game
2nd in the league with 3.8 hits per game (5th overall)

Andre Ference - 26th in league in total ice time per game

Marc Savard - 25th in league points with 1-7-8
Tied for 5th in the league with 7 take aways

Patrice Bergeron - Tied for 4th in the league with 8 take aways

Andrew Alberts - Tied for 7th in the league with 16 blocked shots

**The start time for tomorrow’s game against the Rangers has been changed to 4 pm so as to not interfere with the Red Sox game.

look at you posting! i was just coming here to post something similar, but you beat me to it.

ill add that last year i had a number posts on what i percieved as one of the primary weeknesses of the team. this was the performance of the bottom half of the line up. so some facts in that vein.

of the players to appear in all 6 games only 2 do not have any points albert and thornton.

top six point producers have 33 points.

middle six point producers have 17 points

bottom six point producers have 4 points

the four game winninng goals are from ward, sturm, kobasew and lucic.

if the playoffs began today the bruins would open at home against the islanders

How 'bout these from good ole ESPN:

Player power rankings: no Bruin in the top 15; they highlight how good Backstrom is playing in goal.

Team power rankings: the Bruins are listed 25th overall. Behind the Caps. The Sharks, who have more or less the same record, are ranked 3rd.

Maybe they should change the name of the team to the "Dangerfields."

It's really too bad that ESPN has made itself irrelevant by turning its back on Hockey...
