As Good As Needed

How bad are the Vancouver Canucks? Last nite they visited Boston and the Bruins sent them packing with their tails between their legs. The B's won the game 2-0 despite only having 6 shots in the final two periods and out of these shots 6 were in the 2nd frame. That is correct Boston never recorded a shot in period number 3 - they never had to. Boston really only played 20 minutes of hockey but against an opponent from the feeble Western Conference I guess 20 minutes is enough.
Some game hilites are:
- Chara played great (finally had a good game against a team that wasn't Ottawa or Toronto).
- The Trapper recorded his first shutout of the season.
- Brad Stuart was a force on "D" and blocking shots (even took one off the Bean).
- Bergy and Murray recored the B's goals.

My three stars are:
1 - Timmy "The Trapper" Thomas
2 - Brad Stuart
3 - Zdeno Chara

Bostons' next game is on Saturday nite against the Hated Habs. We must bring our "A" game on Saturday as the Habs best exemplfy how to play in the "new NHL". However, if the Bruins play the full 60 minutes, they should easily defeat their annoying rivals from La Belle Province.

Go Bruins Go !!!

It's not that the Canucks are BAD, they're just fucking TERRIBLE!!!!

Wow, Thomas is superb, huh? I think the Sportsnet commentators were right, he does look like Dwayne Roloson.
